Most Comfortable Toric Contact Lenses

I want to know who has tried the most Toric contact lenses and see if someone has tried most of the brands and can tell me which one he/she thinks is the best deal or the most comfortable.

Please don’t respond if you’ve only tried one brand. I get the feeling there are accounts that are just trying to hock their brand of contacts on here.

Try Toric Contact Lenses

If you want to find out which brands of toric contact lenses are the best for you, then you will need to try a bunch of them. As you work with your eye doctor, you should be able to keep asking for toric contact lens samples and they should be free to get.

With toric lenses and astigmatism, the small weight that’s put into the lens to help center it in your eyes has to be right on target. If not, then you will have blurry vision from time to time. If that happens, simply go and ask for another sample pair. Your eye doctor will take a look at your eyes with the toric contact lenses in them and suggest a new position for the weight so that they line up well.

Different brands will work different on everyone. I am using the CooperVision Preference Torics and am pretty happy with them. With every new prescription (every renewal), they seem to work better and better than they did before. The technology is improving for sure ad CooperVision keeps coming out with new brands and types of toric lenses as the technology improves.

Our advice is be patient and don’t settle for toric contacts that you’re not happy with. Keep searching until you’ve found the ones that are most comfortable for you. It’s worth the work. You’ll then be able to stick with that brand and only wear your glasses once in a while – like at night and when you wake up in the morning.

I have tried B&L Softlens 66 Torics, and the B&L Purevisions. I prefer the Purevision, they are more comfortable for daily wear(and for long periods of time)

I have tried Acuve Oasis, Freshlook, Bauch and Lomb, Proclear, and Air Optix. Im still looking for the right ones. These all move and I’m about ready to give up and just go to glasses. My astigmatism is getting worse so the doctor said its harder to find the right fit.

Definitely check out CooperVision. I have extreme astigmatism and that’s what I use. They stay in place well – even better than just 2 years ago. The technology keeps improving and CooperVision is very much leading the way with toric contact lenses for astigmatism. Try their ProClear Toric XL.
