Banshee Contacts

It’s fun to dress up for Halloween in a costume and go to parties with your friends or in your town. I like to go, dress up and then see the other creative costumes that are out there. People either buy them or make costumes themselves and it’s a fun time. One thing, though, that can really make a costume extra special are colored contact lenses.

Halloween Contacts

Colored contacts for Halloween can either be prescription or you may be able to find them as non-prescription (also called “plano”). If you do go with non-prescription, then you should be careful. You do not want to buy cheap Halloween contact lenses – no way. The materials they are made out of are not as good as those you can get from a name brand. So make sure they are FDA approved contact lenses. Putting them into your eyes even for a few hours, can cause harm. So even though it’s an added cost, you should go see an eye doctor for a quick prescription even if you have great vision because the eye doctor will take measurements of your eye so that you get the right fit. That’s important. With the wrong fit, you’re susceptible to eye infections. But, this it’s entirely up to you if you want to get a prescription or not. To order them as non-prescription, put in the number 0 when it ask for what power you need.

If you do wear contact lenses already, then you already have a prescription and you should order Halloween contact lenses with that prescription so that you get the right fit for your eyes and so that you can also see well.

Amber Ambition Contacts, Twilight Contact Lenses and Banshee Contacts

There are many cool looks you can go with when buying contacts for Halloween. You may even want to design your costume around what kinds of colored and special effect contacts there are. For example, there’s one kind called “Twilight” (or are also called “Amber Ambition”) which can give you that vampire kind of look. I know that’s going to be a popular Halloween costume this year for sure. Or if you’re going as a cat or Cat Woman, the some cat eye contact lenses would be a cool feature. When you get Halloween contacts, get used to people being a little shocked. They’re not going to expect your eyes to be different. They may look at you, look away and then look back at you again with the look of amazement! You’ll get attention and it’ll be in a fun way. They will appreciate the extra effort you took to make your Halloween costume look the best that it can.

Using colored contacts and special effect contact lenses for your Halloween costume is a great idea. Most people look at people’s eyes when they look at someone, so your tricked out eyes will get noticed. People will either be freaked out a little or they may compliment you. Either reaction is desired and doing this will be a lot of fun for both you and them. I love it when people put a little extra effort into their Halloween costume and using Halloween decorative eye lenses / colored contacts is just that.
