Free Sample Contacts by Mail

in Free Contact Lenses

If you already wear contact lenses, are interested in wearing contacts if you’re wearing glasses, or you want to find out about colored contacts, you should know that you can get free sample contacts by mail pretty easily if you just follow a few steps.

First of all, you’ll need an updated prescription for contact lenses in order to get free contact samples by mail. To do this, you will have to make an appointment with your local eye doctor. Just explain that you want to see if you can wear contact lenses instead of glasses. The prescription is different from glasses for a few reasons. One reason is that the lenses sit much closer to your eyes – on your eyes, actually. Also, you need to have the curve of your eyes measured for the right fit. People have different shaped eyes, so the eye doctor will do that for you and it will be a part of your prescription.

Free Contact Samples by Mail

contact-lens-mailNext, after you have made your appointment – or even before, you should look for offers for free contact samples by mail. You can do this by visiting the websites of contact lens manufacturers. You will find these free sample contact offers there. They are in the form of either a rebate or certificate that you get. With some offers you may have to pay for shipping. See the details of each offer to find out what you have to do to get your free sample contact lenses in the mail.

Free Non Prescription Colored Contacts by Mail

Some people may be interested in getting colored contacts and are looking to see if they can just get a pair of free non prescription colored contact in the mail. Just like with corrective contacts, you’ll need a prescription. You cannot get colored contacts without a prescription, unfortunately. Contact lenses are considered medical devices by law, so you will need that prescription. Like we mentioned above, you need to see an optometrist to get fitted for contact lenses even if you don’t need vision correction. It would be nice if you could just order free colored contacts without a prescription but it doesn’t work that way, sorry.

Look for offers for a free colored contacts sample by mail from the manufacturers of colored contact lenses like Acuvue Colors, Freshlook and Durasoft Colors. You should only use the top brands since they use quality materials in their manufacturing process. If you go with cheap colored contacts, you never know what materials they are using or if the paint in their lenses contains something dangerous like lead.

Evaluate Your Free Sample Contacts

You should be ordering several different brands so that you find the contact lenses that work the best for you. Make sure to just use one pair at a time and then take notes about how each brand works for you. Are they easy to take in and out or do they feel dry too easily? Once you’re done using your final pair, you can better make a decision about which brand to ultimately go with.

I wear bifocal glasses the progresive lenses. I have had contacts in the past and want to wear them again however my eye doctor said he had little luck with the bi focal contacts that most people didnt like them so he didnt carry samples. I would very much like to try for myself. They must work for some people. I would like to try them in a green color my perscription is with DR Heffley Harrison Ar. phone. Im also interested in trying something that I dont have to remove every day. Im not that concerned with color. I just want out of these glasses and hope to find something that works. Also I live over a hour from my Doctors Office so if you can mail them that would be awesome. THank You Cindy.

Hi, thanks for the comment. You really do need to work with your local optometrist to find the best solution for getting contact lenses. This is because contact lenses can really only be purchased under the supervision of an optometrist and also, by doing that, you’ll get the best fit because they will be fitted to your eyes by an eye doctor. Thanks!
