Free Contact Lenses and Free Download

in Free Contact Lenses

It seems that one of the most competitive industries out there is the vision and contact lenses industry. You see some commercials and magazine ads for some brands but they and other brands seem to use the lure of free, trial contact lenses to get customers. They all think they have the best lenses out there, so it’s smart of them to do this and they’re letting people try their product before they buy. The great thing is, you get to save money on contact by getting free ones from several manufacturers.

Here are some tips on how to go about getting free contact lenses to try. I’m even including a free download at the end of this article which will help you keep track of which lenses are the best for you.

To be on your way to get free contacts, you need to do a few things:

First, you can find offers online which give you coupons to print for the trial contacts. Find as many as you need for as many free pairs of contacts that you want to try. The more, the better is what I say. You’re taking the time to get different brands and try them and you don’t want to miss out on what may be the best fitting brand for you. Do some searching and take advantage of whatever free contact lens offers you see.

After filling out those forms and getting coupons, you’ll want to go see your eye doctor or optometrist for a fresh prescription. If you have a prescription that’s just a few months old, you’re probably fine and would not need to make an appointment – otherwise, you should. Our eyes change and to take the best care of your eyes, you want to make sure you’re getting the right prescription so that your eyes are not straining to see clearly. Your prescription also has information about how your contacts should fit since we all have different shaped eyes, too.

Next, instead of placing an order right away like you normally would, you’ll want to now go order your free contact lenses so you can try each one. The coupon you got should have instructions on how to order them. They most likely will have you use a mail order contact lens supplier where you’ll present a coupon code or something. The method will vary but be sure to specify that you are ordering “free, trial contact lenses.” This should not be a problem since it’s normal practice now.

Go ahead and place orders for each brand of trial contacts that you have coupons for. Like I said, the more, the better.

Your orders will start arriving within a few days. When they do, you will want to follow a plan to make sure you ultimately end up with the best ones. The best way to do this is to take notes and keep a quick log of each brand that you try. That’s what the download below is for. I’ve created a simple sheet you can use to print out – one sheet for each brand. At the end of your evaluations, you’ll be able to refer to these sheets and make the best decision.

These sheets ask you to rate each pair on factors like how did they feel and were they easy to take in and out.

Once you’ve completed your evaluation, you can then go ahead and place your order for the pair of contacts that work the best for you and you’ll know that the time you spent doing this was worth it. One great benefit, of course, is that you’ve saved money on maybe a few months of contact lenses because you got them for free!

The best way to get a good price and value on contact lenses is to buy contacts online. The competition is greater and many of those suppliers don’t have to pay for retail space, have lower overhead and do more volume (sales), so their prices are the best and you will save money.

To get colored contact lenses to try, you need to do just a few things. First, go to the websites of contact lens makers like Acuvue and Freshlook. They will have the offers there for free sample colored contacts. Click on that link and you will be taken to a form to fill out. After filling it out, you’ll get to a page that has the offer certificate or coupon and then you’ll need to print that out.

Next, make an appointment with your local optician. Going to a local department store that has an optical department is a good place. Make an appointment with them and say that you want to get fitted for colored contact lenses and they will know what you mean. You will go to this appointment and give them the free contact lens coupons that you’ve printed out. You will have to pay for the eye doctor appointment. This might be about $80 or so. The doctor will order the colored contacts for you – so pick out the colors you want ahead of time. They will then arrive in the mail, for free, in about a week or so.

Have fun!
