That is the next major benefit of extended wear contacts; they don’t dry out near as easily as other types.

Because an extended wear contact helps reduce the susceptibility to eye irritations, redness, and dryness, people with sensitive eyes can receive huge benefits if they are able to adjust into a continuous use lens. Before you make the switch though, you will want to consult with your optometrist, and schedule regular examinations, to ensure that your eyes are remaining healthy, after switching. If you begin feeling even more irritations, or redness, discontinue use, and revert back to the lenses that were good for you previously, and then call your doctor if the symptoms do not go away.
