A good way to first try both regular and colored contact lenses is to get free trial samples. You can try different colors and different brands to see which ones you like the best. The contact lens manufacturers out there even want you to try their lenses because they feel like they have the best ones out there. It’s a win-win situation where you get to find the right ones and you get them for free.
Free Contact Lenses
Free contact lenses are not hard to come by. A person can easily get samples from any number of suppliers who want to get them to buy more permanent contact lenses. These free lenses usually still require a contact lens prescription. Most people, who do not need to wear corrective lenses of any type, will not bother going through the pain of being fitted for the proper lenses. If they just want the lenses for cosmetic reasons, there is no reason to subject themselves to the eye exam.
A person who does go through the eye exam can get the lenses that correctly fit his eye. They will be shaped in a manner that will fit the user comfortably. If there is a corrective requirement, the lenses will also be shaped to correct the vision. If a person wants to skip all of these processes, he can do so. A number of foreign companies will ship non-prescription contact lenses to addresses in the United States. They companies where these lenses originate do not have to abide by the laws of the United States of America. It is possible, but unlikely, that the container will be confiscated by customs. You are technically, breaking the law by bringing them into the country, but it’s a minor infraction that most officials will overlook.
A customer who has decided that he does not care about such a minor infraction and does not worry about the risks can order his sample contact lenses, in peace. If he has a legitimate prescription, he does not even have to worry about all of this or to find a foreign vendor who will sell the contacts to him. The lenses will be made in a lab within the country’s borders. For some people, this would be a welcome relief.
