Almost everything at some point in time offers some type of rebate on the product, contacts included. Currently Air Optix is offering a rebate on various websites that offer online ordering of contact lens prescriptions. For those interested in participating in the rebate program, a current prescription from your optometrist is needed, along with the fitting of your contact lens written on the paper. This is to discourage people from taking advantage of the rebate and that those who truly wear Air Optix are given the discount.
The amount of rebate received will depend on the type of Air Optix contacts that are purchased as well as the amount of boxes purchased. The 2010 Air Optix rebate specifies that a twenty dollar rebate will be given to those who buy four boxes of Air Optix Aqua, Air Optix Aqua Multi-focal, and Air Optix for Astigmatism. For those who purchase four boxes of Air Optix Night and Day Aqua they will receive a rebate of eighty dollars.
Details concerning the rebate specifies that only one rebate per person, and the purchase of these contact lens must be made between January of 2010 and July 31, 2010. It also states that the purchase of Air Optix contacts must be made within 90 days of the initial eye exam. Also all the information that will be sent in the rebate must be post marked by the end of August. Keep this in mind, as sometimes it takes eight weeks to receive the rebate forms.
In order to receive the rebate, you must first purchase the four boxes of contact lens from a retailer who is participating in the rebate. Once the contacts are received there will be a rebate form to fill out. Once this form is filled out, include the four UPC codes from the contact lens boxes, the original receipt that says you purchased the lens, and a copy of the receipt of the eye exam/contact lens fitting.

This rebate is not being advertised drastically, so be sure to check with your contact lens supplier as to whether they offer it or not. If you buy online, a few sites that are offering the rebate are aclens.com, discountlenses.com, and visiondirect.com, to name a few.
